Opportunity

We are all given opportunity each new day. Opportunity to love....opportunity to show kindness......opportunity to be all our God has for us to be. Opportunity to pray for situations in our life......
But what happens when we fail? What happens when opportunity is right in front of us and we run? Or we go another way? Or we react a bad way?
Today that happened. I had an opportunity to tell my coworker how much I appreciate her.....I had an opportunity to be kinder to a stranger......I had opportunity to not get upset when I was yelled at.....but all these things I failed to do. I could go on and on....but guess what? We don't have to beat ourself up for what we didn't do. We can learn and grow from our missed opportunities. No tomorrow isn't guaranteed, but we can still strive to do better in the moments we are given. I have learned recently that God is in full control of this life and all that goes on. Each opportunity we are given is not by accident, but by His divine intervention.
